Specifications
Embedded services processor rated at 20 Gbps for Cisco ASR 1000 series routers. It is the card that does packet forwarding, encryption and the chassis service functions. It fits ASR1004 and ASR1006 chassis with an RP1 or RP2 route processor; it is not compatible with the ASR1013 or the RP3. We confirm the exact part number on the label before shipping, because an ESP10 or ESP5 looks the same and does not perform the same. Cisco ended support in March 2024, so it sells as a spare or lab unit, not for an environment that must pass an audit.
