Cisco Catalyst 6880-X-LE chassis switch for network core or 10 GbE aggregation, with the integrated supervisor and three C6880-X-LE-16P10G line cards installed: 64 ports of 10/1 GbE in total, and one free slot to grow. There are two units, which is how they are used: 6880-X redundancy is built as VSS between two chassis. It was in service and working when it was removed from the installation, three months ago.
Two things worth knowing before buying. The cards are the LE version, the one that matches this chassis: an XL card will not come up in an LE chassis and no IOS or license fixes that, so compatibility is already settled in this unit. And Cisco ended support for the series in October 2025, so it is not suitable for an environment that requires current vendor support (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2); it is a very good fit for anyone who already runs 6880-X and needs to grow or keep a spare.
The SFP+ cages come empty: transceivers are not included and must be fitted to match the fibre of each link. It weighs over 55 kg: delivery is within Costa Rica.
